The gift is valid for healing not talk,
This is your conscious mind that is playing tricks on you,
In order to make head way we must be rutheless with the mind,
It is your thinking that got you where you are at,
How can you get out of it using the same thinking? You can’t!
Your heart says this is a chance to break free!
You mind says let us use it to talk!
Your heat says we can do this!
You mind says NO! We don’t have money!
Let us just grab what is free!
Your heart says please don’t!
You mind says we must in order to survive!
Your heart says enough already it is time to thrive!

So you are offended!
So you are offended!
For your religion you are so afraid
What someone says might crash it
What someone thinks might damage it
What someone does might hurt it
Oh God! You may just get lost
Wake up! Enough already!
If your faith does not bear questioning
From others hearts you better leave it
Who do you think your are kidding
Only you is the obvious
If you think for a split second
That the lord’s business is a fragile one
Get over yourself!
It is your faith that is fragile
Not the lord nor his laws
So don’t get so worked up
About defending the Gods
It is your heart that is locked
And your Ego that is too fat
So like a weasel you get agitated
Yours is not more than overzealous act
Trying desperately to self convince
That you know when you don’t
All human knowledge pilled up
Is no bigger than what you can hold
Between a thumb and the index
So you think you know!
Please don’t think
It is your thinking that keeps down
It is your thinking that prevents you
Form reaching the heavens, You were given
Let go of the illusions, You shall be in heavens
Neither the lord, nor the angels,
Will ever be at the reach of the doubtful & fearful,
You need not defending God from others,
Your only challenge is defending
The voice of God within you from you!

Sticker
What if you wake up one day?
In a place where you wants, your goals,
Your desires and your dreams are not legitimate.
A place where they might even be illegal at times.
A place where you are scrutinized, questioned,
Tested and so afraid to say that you come in for a better life.
That you have dreams of a better world.
That you think you might be able to change the world just by coming here.
You thought that you will be welcomed and celebrated.
You thought that you will be free a last.
And you discover the ugly face of reality here and now.
You are an outsider, you are not enough, you struck of bravery is kind of too common. You are one of millions and millions and millions.
You are just another worldwide beggar.
You have an accent. You talk in funny ways.
Another one, of those immigrants.
Some think you are illiterate,
Some think you may be a thief,
Some think you may be a fundamentalist,
Some swear that you are a terrorist.
Poor you! Who have no clue!
You smile, cook your traditional meals and invite them,
Sometimes you shake your heaps to show them some of your ancestor’s moves.
They call you Exotic, Colorful, Ethnic, different, or interesting!
And there you go now, for the first time in your life you got a sticker on your front head.
And you wipe in silence,
You ache in secrecy,
You put on a face,
And you try to not feel how badly it hurts.
You wish someone sees you as a human being
Like them and forget the stickers,
Just for a day, an evening or even an hour.

fear & anxiety
Hello my fear and anxiety,
You got me at times all wrapped up,
In you network of what might happen,
I am tiered of you don’t you know,
I am exausted with your same old same old,
This feeling of hoplessness,
This feeling of helplessness,
I have a genuine ideas,
But you just won’t let it role,
Will you?
I am sick and tired of you,
Get lost!
Why I am calling you “my” fear,
Why am I calling you “my” anxiety,
You are not mine,
You are my mothers
Who got you from her elders
I am done with you,
Get the hell out of my way,
I am not here to baby sit you
Get out of my chest,
Get out of my life,
I am not here to carry you,
I am here for a greater purpose,
Then sit and just listen to you,
I am here for a bigger mission,
Than just be consumed by you,
You and all those you inhabit
Specially those who given to you,
Get the hell out of my way,
I am so done with you,
Today is the day!
I am taking back control of my life,
I am claiming all of myself
I am kicking you out for good,
I am reclaiming my power,
My birth right of being a life
And not a shadow as you profess,
I am finished with tip toeing around,
To please you, I lost so much,
To be able to breath under your oppression,
I compromised my self, my life, my entire being,
No more! Your ugly headed illusion
Will ran my life!

Don’t be offended
Please don’t be offended,
I am here to shake up the status quo,
I am here to weak you up,
I am here to remind you,
Of the greatness that used to be yours,
The greatness of you ancestors,
That was based on wisdom and restraint,
Restraint from being offended,
Restraint from jumping to conclusion,
Restraint from being defensive,
Those who are small brains and closed up hearts
Don’t have room for the light of glory,
The glory of authenticity and truth,
The glory of the only truth
The glory of that, which does not discriminate,
The glory of love,
Please don’t be offended,
You have valid reasons to think what you think,
Hear me out, don’t be offended,
What I am saying is for you and only for you,
Without you it wouldn’t have come through
I am thankful and grateful to you,
Regardless what you choose to do,
Please don’t be offended,
Love will set you free

To my Beloved Soul Friend
The day I shall soar to the highest dimensions,
I shall rejoice in oneness with you and with all there is,
Even there I shall soar even higher with you and all there is,
For I am the essence of the divine and in this I there is you.

Whose life is it?
I have one humble suggestion,
To make as of your actual situation,
It is inside, Of you that it needs to be resolved,
Not in the outside!
You have no control over how others feel,
You have no control over what others do,
You have no control over how others react,
You have no control over what others believe;
However, you have all the power over how you feel,
You have all the power over how you react,
You are the only one, who is at the command of your being.
How you react to life,
How you react to others,
How you react to the world,
Is a very personal choice,
That you make at the deepest core of your being,
Peace and serenity of your heart,
Is what matter the most,
It is your sole responsibility,
For it is nothing short,
Of a self discovery journey,
The business of the heart,
Is about achieving intimacy,
First and foremost with your self,
For it is nowhere outside your self,
How your mother reacts to your life is her issue not yours,
How your father reacts to your life is his issue not yours,
How your siblings react to your life is their issue not yours,
How your friends react to your life is their issue not yours,
It is your birth right to be the star and the decision maker of your own life,
Your life is not your moms, not your fathers, not anyone else’s but yours,
What you do with your life is: All Yours!
Regardless, if you choose to be a people pleaser or your own person.

For the Sake of you
For the Sake of you wake up!
For the lord sitting in your heart wake up,
We having been sleeping for centuries now,
The time of getting up is overdue,
Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!
For the sake of you wake up,
I am here, hear me out,
I came to weak you up,
For the sake of life wake up
For the sake of heavens wake up
I am here, right now, I came for you,
Wake up for the sake of you!
Hear me out the lord is sitting in your heart,
He is patiently waiting for you to wake up,
So he can give you all the jewels
That he made just for you
Wake up! For the sake of you, get up,
I am here, right now, I came just for you,
I have been preparing for this long time ago,
I came and left many times,
So I can be ready for you,
I am your eyes that you closed,
I am your heart that you ignore,
I am your tongue that you don’t use,
I am the truth that scares you,
I am here, right now, I came just for you,
The whole purpose of my life if for you,
Wake up for I need to let you know
I am carrying all kind of miracles
And all I want is give them to you,
Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!
Hear me out, with your heart,
Hear me out not with your head,
Hear me out and forget what you think you know,
Hear me out and discover the magnificence of the unknown,
I am here, right now, I am here just for you!
It is your time to shine,
It is your time to be divine,
It is your time to fly with the angels,
I am your guide and I am here to help you,
Wake up! For the Sake of You!

Let us Dream
I dream of a world filled with harmony,
I dream of a world filled with bliss,
A world that is not afraid,
Neither of the Gods,
Nor of human kind,
A world of curiosity about itself,
A world of anticipation about life,
A world free from fight and flight,
A world of peace,
A world of love,
A world that is healed,
From the wounds of the past,
A world that embraces forgiveness,
A world that is clear from hatred,
A world that celebrates the creation,
A world that knows the connection,
A world that fully understands,
That its energy is one and the same,
Dreams do manifest,
Today’s reality might be an illusion,
Or one’s perception,
Dreams do manifest,
Let us dream…

What if?
What if what you think is not it?
What if all your pain is from it?
What if it so easy to change it?
What if you are supposed to change it?
What if?
Why is the journey so hard?
Why can’t I just be like a tree?
Grow peacefully and peacefully be?
What is all the commotion for?
What are all these humans fighting for?
What if God does not care?
If you are a Saint or a Sinner,
What if it is not all that different to be a Saint or a Sinner?
How does one live like a lion, hunts, feeds himself, then peacefully rest,
Only hunts to sustain life, not for any other purposes,
The lions seem so noble compared to man kind!

Some things have to be said
Some things have to be said,
But why argue back and forth,
Let us learn to state how we feel as is,
Let us make no apologies because we are alive,
Let us say we don’t know, when we don’t,
Let us ask questions when we don’t understand,
Let us stop being compliant out of habit,
Let us allow ourselves to be seekers of truth,
Let us not pretend that we hold the ultimate truth,
Let us put out there our request to the universe,
That we feel this way or that way, without restraint,
Let us learn how to ask for help and guidance,
Let us offer help when we can,
Let us make suggestions not shout orders,
Let us offer our insights not insults,
Let us learn how to honor humanity,
Let us respond genuinely,
Let us not deny others their humanity,
Let us allow others to be less than perfect,
We humans mess up and that is what we do best,
That is how we learn,
Let us learn and evolve,
Let us breathe and love,
Let us let go of the old ways,
Let us let go of our arrogant ways,
Let us stop being overly proud,
To the point of becoming obliviously blind,
Let us not miss our truth,
For the journey here is short,
Let us release the past,
Let us release resentment and grudges,
Let us let go of this manic habit of judging,
Let us release hurt and sadness,
Let us release all fears,
For fear is a jail that keeps us trapped in the past,
Worry is useless, it keeps us busy doing nothing,
Let us release the negative energy of darkness,
Let us embrace light and overcome darkness,
Even a beam of light will cut the thickness of darkness,
Monsters only grow in darkness,
So let us live in the light, in the open,
Let us hide nothing and learn again,
To live as beings of light.

Your God is False and mine is the only Truth!
Your God is False and mine is the only Truth by Najat Fares Kessler
Since the beginnings of the times,
Humans worshipped some kind of divinity,
All along the history there were wars and wars and wars,
Fought in the “name” of one form of divinity or another,
Humans inflected on other humans horrendous sufferings,
They slaughtered one another in the name of one god or many,
Today, it is still the case; religious extremism is at the edge,
Some are killing themselves to overcome the “enemies of God”,
Some are killing others to defend “God’s way of life”
Others are killing for the claim of uprooting “the Access of Evil”
Both parties claim that they are after “Evil” yet they are fighting against each other,
One wonders why humans don’t make an alliance to fight this hard to catch Evil,
If they are only fighting for “God” as each of the parties claims,
Why don’t they take a moment to check each others?
And realize since they are all made the same way,
Their maker might be one and the same,
And if it is so, why are they still fighting?
In the name of this same maker against each others,
After all, maybe that all humans that live and have ever lived,
And claim to kill one another in the name of God,
Are just murderers, who use the concept of God to make their acts of horror,
Into a grand act in the divine’s name,
Is there such thing called God?
Or are humans projecting their level of consciousness,
Into some kind of fictitious higher power?
The lower the consciousness the more vengeful and cruel their Gods are?
After all, none had ever crossed to the other side, spent some time,
And came back to inform the living on how it goes behind the curtains of death.
If you think that your god is the only truth what proofs do you have?
Except from the “holly” books or old storytelling,
Aren’t those the same proofs all and every religion has?
Why should yours be the only truth?
Maybe there is a higher power,
Maybe it is out of the grasp of our consciousness?
Maybe it is just way different than all of these “Gods”,
That humans worship or have worshipped so far,
A higher power that has no use for humans killing each others,
A higher power that has no use of human judgment,
A higher power that has no use of heaven or hell,
Maybe it is in the human saga that the house of God is,
Maybe after creating humans God dissolved into tiny pieces,
And each piece implanted itself in everything that lives, including human heart,
Imagine that within every human being there is a piece of God,
Imagine that this piece of God is able to connect to all the other pieces,
How exalting to carry a piece of God within you!
How exalting to be God as the drop of water is a part of the sea,
Maybe God is waiting for us to allow him to unfold within us,
Maybe God is patiently waiting for us to allow his pieces to connect,
Maybe that is what it takes for the joy to explode in our heart,
Shine through us and lovingly reach out to others,
Maybe then humans can blissfully fly!

What if you wake up one day?

The New Trend of Religious abusers in Moroccan scene,
The abuser is a man or a woman that is always looking for someone to abuse,
The abuser acts friendly to start with,
Then he become incursive about the privacy of others he is planning to abuse,
Then little by little he brings up his views on how things Should be,
To make his claims powerful he backs it up with what he thinks is God’s way!
He talks on behalf of God and don’t you dare question him,
Because you are going to burn in hell!
The abuser has no room for tolerance or compassion,
The abuser does not listen or discuss, he gives orders,
The abuser talks down to others and tells them what to do, how to think and how to feel,
The abuser does not see the suffering of others, he is busy punishing them some more,
The abuser does not see good in humans,
He is too busy looking for something to judge them for,
The abuser has no ethics, no integrity, no personal honor,
The abuser lies, defames, attacks, hurts anyone and everyone,
Then he will apologize or play dam by pretending that he was joking,
He pads his victims on the back telling them that they should not have started it,
And goes on his best behaviors playing nice,
While making sure that he had them on check,
He wants them to be afraid of him and makes sure it stays that way,
Until he does it again and here goes the vicious circle,
The abuser inflects pain,
The abuser lives in pain,
The abuser is in pain,
The abuser is scared to death to open up,
The abuser is scared to death to let go of the pain,
The abuser is scared to dearth to change,
The abuser knows nothing about the magical,
Transcending experience of letting go of fear,
The abuser knows nothing about the power of Love,
The abuser knows nothing about inner peace,
The abuser knows nothing about the Experience of the Divine,
Therefore he is all over the place talking about one religion or another,
He who experienced the Divine does not talk about or on behalf of the Divine,
For there are no words to describe or say on behalf of the Divine,
He who seeks the Divine ought to learn how to be still,
The Divine is not sitting exclusively in the religious book of Islam
Or in any other religious book that exist or will ever exist,
The Divine is everywhere, in that stone, that cat, that flower,
It is in the realm of the creation that one ought to look for the Divine,
Human beings are part of the creation,
Be still and look for the Divine within you!
No spiritual growth will ever come from abusing the creation,
No spiritual growth will ever come from abusing humans,
No one deserves to be abused, not a cat, not a drunk, not a prostitute,
No one needs to be abused in order to connect with the Divine,
No one needs to be around abusers,
Hold the compassion in your heart for them,
But move your legs as fast as you can when an abuser shows up,
Negative energy is the fastest form of contagious illness for the heart,
It is in the deepest of our hearts that the Divine sits,
Keep your heart polished and clear from hatred and fear,
Fill it with love and compassion; find something to love about every bit of the creation,
Fear equals Darkness, and monsters only grow in darkness,
Love is light and light is love, The Divine is Love.

Admit it and change everything!

Facts about Morocco:
The Berbers of Morocco are part of the few populations that embraced Islam by choice and have not been forced to it by the sowrd.
Berber girls don’t cover, Berber girls are allowed to date in front of the whole village,
They are allowed to date accept gifts and break up with one boy friend and date another one, until they meet their husbands
Berber women sing, dance and are highly respected poets,
Moroccan Islam has always been the El Madhab El Maliki, not a Chiite or Sunnite one,
Morocco is the only Islamic country, who did not succumb to the Othman Empire,
Morocco has a long tradition of Sufism.
Morocco is in Northwest of Africa, not in the Middle East.

Speaking on Behalf of God
How can we humans speak on behalf of God?
When we are suspicious of others,
We are suspicious of the world,
We hastily jump to conclusions,
We are self rigthouss, controlling and abusive,
We are impolite, inconsiderate,
We are Rude and hurtful,
We are Disrespectful,
We are judgemental,
We are Ignorant,
We are Arrogant,
We are Blind with our own Perceptions,
How can we preach?
We got no ground for such speech,
If the Creator wanted the earth to be one and only one Religion,
He would have arranged for it to be so,
Well it is not the case,
Shouldn’t we rather than hating every other Religion,
Learn how to live peacefully,
Treat others with the same respect and dignity,
We are lunging for,
This only means learning to be a decent human being,
How can we speak on Behalf of God?
When we have no clue about the creation,
When we have no respect for the creation,
Which is the realm of God!

By God I am a Woman
By God I am a woman and these are my nipples,
If you can’t stand them look the other way!
I shall not cover my body,
I shall not lower my voice,
I shall not lower my gaze,
By God I am a woman and these are my nipples,
If you can’t stand them look the other way!
I will look at you right in the eye!
And see through your shivering soul,
Don’t make up rules to cope with your own fears,
And call them Divine rules, they are not,
If the Divine meant for a woman to be covered,
The Divine would have made women with feathers,
By God I am a woman and these are nipples,
If you can’t stand them look the other way!
I shall not cover my body,
I shall not lower my voice,
I shall not lower my gaze,
By God I am a woman and these are my nipples,
If you can’t stand them look the other way!
I am beautiful, I am sensual, and I am an enchanting desire,
No, I am not here to pull you down,
No, I am not here to cause your fall from grace,
You long ago forgot about grace,
I am here to Dance with harmony,
I am here to Live with passion,
I am here to Vibrate with life,
I am here to Give life,
I am here to Embody the Divine,
I am here to Remind you of what you forgot,
You inner state of Grace!

God spoke to me
God spoke to me
From within the deepest
Of my heart and soul
Whenever, I went down,
Slammed by the judgments
Of your likes
When I though I ought to
Make you see me, like me,
See the good within me,
See my pain, see my efforts,
No way, you did not see me,
God spoke again and said
Don’t you give up!
I am here, I love you!
You are all rights!
Regardless of the fall,
Thus, I stood up and since then,
I listen to this voice within me,

Hear My Call
Hear my call by Najat Fares Kessler
O my heart,
O my body,
O my soul,
O the skies
O the earth
O the galaxies
O the universe!
Hear my Call!
O the angels,
O Gods,
Hear my call!
My heart is aching
Hear my call!
O Buda,
O Moussa,
O Jesus,
O Mohammed,
Hear my call!
Within me,
Bowling,
Is a volcano,
Hear my call!
O Women,
O men,
O all beings,
Hear my Call!
My heart is chattered,
Hear my Call!
I am all that,
You deny,
Hear my Call!
Do not lose me,
In words,
Hear my Call!
What do I have To do?
What do I have To say?
To get you To admit
I am you,
Hear my Call!

Ecris! Mon Amour
Certes, il est vrai que les oiseaux se cachent pour mourir,
Ne meure pas mon amour,
Je ne vaudrais pas que tu meure,
je vaudrais que tu vive,
non seulement que tu respire,
mais que tu vibre de vie,
Ecris! mon amour,
Aime, souffre et vit!
donne voie a ta tristesse!
donne voie a ton desespoir!
c'est au milieu du cahoes,
comme un gyzer,
que la naissance
d'une nouvelle vie
jaillisse!
Ecris! mon amour,
Ecris!
tu es entrain de subir,
la transformation,
tu brisera ta chrysalide,
tres prochainement,
comme un papillon au printemp,
tu t'envolera haut dans le ciel bleu!

A break from myself
It would be nice to be someone else for a day,
Just for a break from myself in a way,
Be someone who is blissfully free,
Free from fear, envy and jealousy,
Free from the desire of being perfect,
Free from all that I don’t like about me,
Free from being me and judging me,
Free from my usual limitations,
Free from all I ever known,
Free from my bad habits,
Free from my burdens,
Be able to do things that I don’t dare,
Dress in a different style,
Talk and walk in a different way,
Blissfully free as a sun’s ray,
Just for a day,
Just for a break from form myself in a way!

To My Beloved Father
O Father, I miss you, Dearest Dad, I miss your smile, Your hugs and gentle loving touch,
My Beloved Father, I feel your heart, I want you to know,
That I don’t have one, Not one single memory, Of a bad day with you,
Through it all, You always had and still have, An unconditional love for me,
A loving touch, A loving smile, Loving eyes, A loving silence,
You stood up for me, You honored me, You always put me first,
You made tremendous sacrifices, And dramatic changes in your life,
To protect me and raise me well, You wanted me educated,
Even though you did not write or read,
I still remember my first day of school, How dedicated and excited you were,
The black and white Street photographer session, by the Spanish Consulate in Casablanca,
When you put me on your bicycle seat, And rode standing up all the way to school,
In our travels to go back visit the Berber village where you were born in the south,
You put me first and would hold me, my head on your lap all the way,
You hold my hand tight and walked me into places that most think girls are not allowed in,
You made sure I was fed, clean, educated and safe,
You cared less of what anybody else thought,
You never once told me, when I grow up I should get married and have kids,
You always said: “I want you to grow up and become an educated, wise and decent human being.”
When my life fell apart, and I lost my job, friends and almost lost my life,
You stood by me, supported me, and you were ready to fight for me, no matter what,
When Grandma died, and my sisters and I pilled up in my car to follow the procession,
Some overzealous family member who came for the funerals told my sisters and I that we should not go, Women should not be part of the procession,
You stepped in and told him where to go,
Dearest Dad, I have a tremendous respect for you because no matter how young I was,
You always respected me, You always treated me with respect and dignity,
You took care of me when I was so vulnerable,
You love me with your heart, and always hold me inside you heart,
Amazing you Dad! You, who grow up as an orphan very early in age,
You lost your own father as you were in the womb and lost you mother right after she gave you birth,
With them gone so early, you lost every thing else, shelter, education and even food,
You grow up most of the times hungry, son of a Highly Educated Master yet not knowing how to read,
Yet, you are a Father Hero! You are my Hero! A Hero of a whole generation and era!
Today, living in a country leading the world, helping others sort out their lives,
I come to compare between your achievements and those of others,
Very few of them come close to your heart wisdom and enlightenment,
Dearest Dad I am grateful to you until the last breath I take and forever thereafter,
O Dad, my Beloved Father, You are the Best Dad in the world,
If I have to do it all over again, I will not change a thing about you!
Your loving daughter now, and an honored grateful soul for ever,
I know as I am sitting here crying and writing this you are thinking of me.

Who heals the healer?
I for the life of me did not figure out this one yet!
If I did, I would be Enlightened already!
I wrestle with myself,
I know most of the time what I ought to do.
However, I don’t yet know how to get myself to do it.
I go from one teacher to another,
Like a sponge I am ready to absorb,
All and every wisdom they want to share with me
I get up and leave their classrooms,
Feeling that I am better than before,
Yet, I am still not free.
Back to myself,
I just sit here,
Not doing much and not feeling great.
Though the fears are less,
I am still at lost.
Who am I?
What am I to do?
Yes! When I heal others I do feel at peace!
I feel I am who I ought to be!
When I teach,
The students bring the best out of me!
When I help,
The one who seems to be in need,
Gives me, a Godly me!
Yet, when it is done and over with!
And I am back to myself,
I neither feel Best nor Godly.
I just sit here.
I dreamed about having a Master,
Who would show me.
Yet, it never manifests,
It seems as if I am banned to be a loner!
In my quest for who I want to be!
Yearning, I am craving the connection!

Immigration
Immigration is a loss of status,
A loss of the ability to speak and to write,
Your language is neither cared for nor even understood,
And the new language is a mystery to you,
Immigration is falling back into infancy,
While you are wearing a full grown up body,
You can’t speak, and you don¹t know where to go,
You are talked to like a child,
Often with sentences ending with, “Do you understand?”
Immigration is the anxiety of writing an email,
Always wondering and doubting yourself,
Hoping that your choice of words is right,
Hoping that you don’t sound rude or impolite,
Hoping that the recipient of your email does not judge you,
as someone who has no education because you misspell,
Immigration is bleeding through the journey for several years,
Immigration is lunging to get a chance to hear Mom, Dad, Sisters, Brothers, Niece, Nephew’s voices,
And having to pay several dollars per minute in order to be able to talk to them,
Immigration is the year going by without anyone around noticing any of the celebrations and holidays you cherish,
Immigration is watching others enjoy their holidays and celebrations with their family while yours are out of reach,
Immigration is living in an environment where there is nothing about you,
Not a word about the customs and traditions you grew up with,
Not a word about your food, you culture or your history,
Immigration is being labeled “Ethnic”, I never understood what that means since all human have ethnicity not just one group,
Immigration is being talked to in a condescending way “you poor immigrant coming from a third world country.”
Immigration is thousands of feeling spinning in your heart while seldom you find an ear to hear you,
Immigration is being afraid to share the flaws in your country, religion, customs and traditions and see or hear the expression of pity,
Immigration is losing the illusions you had when you came in,
Immigration is a dramatic human experience,
Immigration to the USA is the hardest and most painful thing I had ever done,
My experience is as if I am an uprooted full grown up tree,
I carried my tree on my shoulders and traveled from one side of the globe to the other,
The tree and I face to the whole world,
My country did not help me to make the move and the USA did not help me to come here,
I had to make my case and prove that I am a decent human being,
While I am looking for a safe spot to plant my tree and nurture it again,
It has lost all its green leaves and juicy fruits and a lot of its roots died,
I finally planted my tree again and I am nurturing it and doing my best to protect in and make sure it adapts to the weather and the dirt of the new land.
Hoping that it will grow and make the biggest and juiciest fruit it ever made!

How it feels
Am I angry? I am enraged!
Furious and outraged!
For all the ignorance,
All the misinterpretations,
Misreading of religion,
All that I was told,
By God! How dare you!
How dare you!
Tell me how I feel?
And over and over,
I was told “Keep it down!”
Belittled, Humiliated, Denied,
Half in the sibbilinghood,
Less than nothing in inheritance,
Worthless as a witness,
By God! How dare you!
How dare you!
If there is any kindness!
How come you indulge?
In the privilege of your “manhood”,
How come you did and do not speak up?
For the injustice!
On daily basis,
Abused, Harassed,
And assaulted,
Under everyone’s eyes,
Where were you!
By God!
One of many,
I paid for every bit of it,
For today’s little ones,
I shout out loud my cry,
For today’s grown ups,
Deep in the bliss of ignorance,
What do you do?
Don’t you start with the usual,
Talk about “God’s” rules,
What do you know about God?
How dare you! How dare you!
Reinterpret the Divine for me?
Your discriminating against women God,
Is just that: Your God, not mine!
Like you he is a prejudist!
And if you are so great save yourself!
I am in charge for my own salvation!
Spear me your outdated condescending gimmicks!
Between my maker’s hidden massages,
In the gift of brain he honored me with,
And your not holding water interpretations,
I choose to use the gift of brain,
And I am telling you,
Back off!
I shall not hide my body,
I shall not lower my voice,
I am shouting out loud,
Wake up!!!!!!
Wide open your eyes,
See the disturbing part of you,
That you don’t like to see!
And before you hastily say,
In your dismissive usual ways,
That this is my own imagination,
Read the Moudawanna’s constitution!

Think again
Unless one is born a female and lived to be an adult in a society where being female equal second class citizen, one has no idea of the turmoil a human being in such condition goes through.
Where do I start?
From when you are way little and you are told that you can’t run around with the other male children, you are a girl and girls are locked up in homes and are suppose to learn how to serve everyone else,
When you are told that you are supposed to eat left over because you are just a girl and men and boys are served first and are given the best of the feast,
When you are told in order to make God happy you have to hide most of your body,
When your breast is growing and you are told now it is even more of an emergency,
When you have your first periods and you are told, well you are kind of dirty,
You are told on your shoulders lays the burden the honor of your entire family,
It is vital to keep the hymen intact and don’t ever think about using the clitoris,
For you are supposed to be a virgin for the Man,
And Remember that you do not have claims whatsoever over his virginity,
He is not up to the test here but you and only you are,
You are supposed to keep your self pure for him,
So when he gets to you he is the first one who ever touched you,
When you are told that naked, you are basically the Devil temptation
You are that only thing that may distract this Man from his spiritual path,
You see this Man has no power over his penis when he sees you,
You are told that you are to obey this Man that can’t help himself to live,
You have to cook for him, clean after him, and obey him,
You are told that even if This Man acts irresponsible, it is on you,
It is on you to be the hidden beauty Queen, the best Chef Cook, The Best Mother, The Best, Most Perfect, and Wise Woman in the Earth,
For this, so Weak, Man; because he is just a Man,
This Man who can not make sense of himself,
Who is overwhelmed buy his erection
Who, is so scared and hides behind artificial games of life,
Of course, he will come up with all kind of mind chatter,
Intellectual explanations and ego justifications,
The Koran, the Bible, the Taorat, Traditions, Culture,
What do I know?
Fearful, Ignorant, Arrogant, the Ego is cunning,
You are talking to me about God!
Forget the Mosques, the Churches and Temples,
Forget all the religious books,
I am a Creature of God!
Can’t you see?
Like you, I only and only belong to God!
When did you take over and become God!
If you experienced God, how come you can’t you see me?
Yes, try that,
Try to keep me lower so you can feel higher,
To all Men on the Earth, the lower you put your women,
The lower you are,
And that is how human kind got into the chaos,
We are in right now!
Think again.
